The plastic that fills the oceans

Sum up
World production of plastics in 2010 was around 288 million tonnes. Has increased 620% one since 1975. That generates in coastal regions an amount of plastic waste nearly 100 million tonnes, of which 32 million are not properly managed and an average of eight million tonnes ends up floating in the oceans around the world. Another investigations said that to know the dangers we expose plastic pollution in the seas is necessary know how much there is, where is and how it affects marine species. Andres Duarte and Cózar calculated after his remarks that the total amount of plastic floating on the surface is between 6,300 and 245,000 tons.
Opinion
People is not conscious that we are throwing away to sea and to the landsfills, and this will be a problem in a few years. If we coould see the past, it's true that we throw less rubbish but it's not quite enought. I think that more families need to recycle because if we go by this way we will destroy our planet
